What are we fundraising for?
The Jefferson Elementary PTA fundraises all year long to have the necessary funds to pay for PTA programs. Examples include Trunk or Treat every October, cultural assemblies, Global Reading Challenge, Back to School night, and the list goes on.
How can I help?
Donate Directly
Give directly and support your Jefferson PTA. Direct contributions are tax deductable and often matchable with employer dollars.
Volunteer Time
Volunteers give the gift of time to students, staff, and the wider school community. Events and programs do not happen without the help of our incredible volunteers and the Volunteer Committee.
Everyday Dollars
There are ways to give that don't hit your wallet or your watch directly. The PTA has several programs that raise funds while you do your everyday shopping.
How are funds being spent?
Every dollar that the Jefferson Elementary PTA raises goes toward programs that benefit students, families, and staff. See our 2022 - 2023 spending categorized below.
Family Events like Back to School Night, Trunk or Treat, and Dog Days. These events strengthen our school community.
Staff Support in the form of classroom supplies, snacks for testing days, and other staff needs.
Enrichment Programs including assemblies, Global Reading Challenge, and art in the classroom.
Staff Grants are available for all Jefferson staff and are typically used for special projects, classroom needs, and field trips.
School Events like Staff Appreciation Week and 5th Grade Camp.
