Save the date for our upcoming Earth Day Celebration on Friday, April 19th from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Jefferson Cafeteria. See pollinators and the plants they pollinate from the University of Puget Sound Natural History Museum’s collection; plant a pea for your garden; make native wildflower seed balls to start a meadow; and join the community pledge. The Scholastic Book Fair returns the week of April 15th. Students will have an opportunity to visit the Book Fair with their class. The Book Fair will be available to browse and shop after school as well. This is a great opportunity to add some new books to your home and help bring more books to classrooms at Jefferson.

Join us Friday, April 26th for an evening of food, fun, and baseball at Cheney Stadium! The Rainiers take on the El Paso Chihuahuas with gates opening at 5:30pm and first pitch at 7:05pm.

Stay until the end for Friday night fireworks!

Paint and Sip night will be Friday, December 15th from 5-8pm in the cafeteria. Local Artist, Michelle Osborne, will be leading the painters in a one-of-a-kind painting of Mt. Rainier with a Bruin Bear.

Thanks to an incredible grant from the Captain Planet Foundation – yes, that Captain Planet – Jefferson will soon have a school garden! At our next PTA meeting on Thursday (11/16 @ 6pm in the Jefferson Library) we’ll be sharing more about this awesome project. Like all of our PTA programs this project is powered by parents. If you are interested in helping build and maintain the gardens please be sure to join us on 11/16 or email us for more information. We are organizing a Jefferson Giving Tree to provide gifts for Jefferson families who could use some extra help this winter. Please help support our Jefferson families by purchasing gifts from this wish list if you are able to help.

When purchased from the wishlist, the gifts are delivered directly to Jefferson where they are collected and given to families before the winter break.

⭐ We ask that you look for a deliver by date on or before December 4th to ensure we have time to get all gifts to families before the winter break. ⭐

This year's Trunk or Treat was a blast. A heartfelt thank you to all who decorated trunks, helped set up/clean up, and donated treats. Thank you for making this a great annual event! It simply would not happen without the support from the Jefferson community.
